Last weekend I conducted a Teacher training Workshop for the Upland Church of Christ in Upland, CA. Travel expenses from Nashville make workshops on the west coast a rarity. What a blessing I received from this diverse, 150-member congregation.
   I was immediately impressed by the hospitaility of its minister, Jon Rowe, and his family. This congregation was a mix of races (Caucasian, African-American, Asian, and Hispanic) that seemed to work together and genuinely love one another. They exhibited a deep love for the Bible and an intense eagerness to know it better.
