Is VBS Just for Kids? Nope. Here’s What You Need to Know About Adult Classes

If you’re like most people, you may think that Vacation Bible School is a kids-only event filled with Bible crafts and snack times. VBS is much more than that. Adults have their own classes, too!

Whether you have a child enrolled in VBS or not, adults are welcome to sign up to be ranch hands at Redemption Ranch, and you don’t have to teach, make crafts, or prepare snacks. Adults study the same Bible stories and biblical concepts that kids study but take a deeper dive into Scripture. If you do have a child participating in VBS, you have the added benefit of discussing the Bible stories in greater detail, helping your son or daughter to reach a greater understanding of the concepts being taught.

Designed as a tool for small group or personal Bible study, the Adult Book, written by David Hall, takes adults on the same journey through five of Jesus’ most well-loved parables, showing them how to use God’s gifts, grow in God’s Word, share God’s love, shine God’s light, and accept God’s grace. Each lesson concludes with open-ended questions that are designed for thoughtful discussion in a small group setting or internal reflection in a personal study session.

Available at promisevbs.com for just $4.99 each, the Adult Book is written as a standalone piece and does not have an accompanying teacher’s guide.
