You may have heard about a potential UPS workers’ strike, which could go into effect August 1. Should the strike happen, package deliveries worldwide will be significantly impacted among all carrier services. Because of the volume that UPS handles on a daily basis, experts agree that other carrier services (US Postal Service, FedEx, etc.) will simply not be able to keep up with the extra flow of packages, resulting in significant delays to their own services.
With that in mind, we encourage our customers to get orders for curriculum, communion supplies, Bibles, books — or whatever you need to order — to us as soon as you can. The sooner we can process and ship your order before July 28, the greater the chance that you will receive it in a timely manner.
For our customers with automatic recurring communion supply orders, we plan to submit your scheduled August orders a week early in an attempt to avoid any potential delivery disruptions.
We hope that this strike can be avoided, but we want to be prepared to help you and all the rest of our Christian family. We stand ready to serve you.
