Getting church insiders out to bring outsiders in

The majority of America’s churches face stagnant or declining membership numbers and are uncertain as to how to reverse that trend. Church Inside Out offers an approach to community evangelism that doesn’t call for a compromise in terms of doctrine nor major investments in terms of staff or facilities. It is a how-to guide for the congregation that wants to increase its impact on the community around it.

Church Inside Out can also be taught as a part of the church’s small group ministry. Each group member should have his/her own copy of this companion Student Workbook and complete the activities as the leader instructs.

About the Author:
Tim Archer coordinates the Spanish-speaking ministries for Hope for Life, a Herald of Truth ministry. In addition, he preaches for the bilingual service at the University Church of Christ in Abilene, Texas, where he attends with his wife Carolina, and their two children, Daniel and Andrea. Holding master’s degrees in Bible and Interpersonal communication from Abilene Christian University, Tim has served as a missionary in Argentina and a local minister in South Texas. He has spoken at evangelistic compaigns in a dozen foreign countries, as well as the United States. He has co-authored three books with Steve Ridgell: Letters from the Lamb, Hope for Life, and More Hope for Life. His latest book, A History of Churches of Christ in Cuba, was co-written with Cuban preacher Tony Fernandez.
