This book is the result of 40+ years of study of the attributes that make up the mind and heart of Christ. The great challenge for Christians in any age is to have the heart of Christ. All around us are examples of people that seem to have that mind and demonstrate it in their acts and attitudes. I have come to the realization that having the mind and heart of Christ doesn’t just happen, you have to work at it. It only comes as we study God’s Word and let Him speak to us through it. When we have prayed about the message we have received and trust in Him, then He will help us grow in these attributes. What a tremendous challenge we have before us.

Eddie has been in fulltime ministry since 1969. He served as a Pulpit Minister for 31 years at churches in Arkansas and Mississippi. Since 2000 Eddie has served as Associate Minister of Education at Germantown church of Christ, Germantown, TN. He graduated from Harding Graduate School of Religion with a Master of Arts in Ministry. He authored a book on marriage, The Wedding’s Over — What Now? published by Quality Publishing Co. Abilene, TX. Eddie has taught classes at the Freed-Hardeman University and Harding University Lectureships. He has articles appearing in the Gospel Advocate, Power for Today, and Magnolia Messenger. He has served on the national board of the Christian Education Association and on the Advisor Counsel and Alumni Board for the Harding Graduate School of Religion.
