Service Impacts Related to Coronavirus

Pre-Filled Communion Cups — Demand for these products is extremely high, and the manufacturers are struggling to keep up with their production. Information about current availability and processing times can be found with each of these type products we resell in their descriptive product pages on our website.

Printed Publications — Printing companies are experiencing both supply and labor shortages. These are causing availability delays for many new and reprinted publications. We make every effort to contact our customers when we learn of such delays, which will affect their orders.

Package Carriers — For both the US Postal Service (USPS) and United Parcel Service of America (UPS), although they continue to post their normal delivery time estimates with their services, neither have been guaranteeing their ground services for many months, and this is likely to continue for quite some time. UPS has, however, reinstated their Service Guarantee for select air services, and our observations have been that their ground services have also been running mostly on schedule. Though the majority of our orders are shipped either the same day or the next business day, once a package leaves our facility, any problems or delays are typically because of the package carrier or the circumstances they encounter.

Immerse & LifeLINKS Curriculums for 2021-22

To say that the past year and a half has been a challenge would, indeed, be an understatement. Many churches saw little to no activity for most of 2020 and into the first half of 2021, especially in Bible classes. Even though Bible studies have been well underway for some congregations, others are just now resuming their class times. Yet for some, the challenge still remains.

For 21st Century Christian, this has created a unique dilemma as the publisher of the much-loved Immerse in His Word and LifeLINKS to God Bible school curriculums. Both of these curriculums are well-known for being fresh and new each quarter, incorporating new lesson activities each year based on recent events, which help to more effectively connect the Word of God in a relational manner to today’s children, teens, and adults alike.

Under normal circumstances, just enough materials are produced each quarter each year to supply the needs of churches around the world for that specific time period, since new materials would be produced for the same quarter the following year. However, the past year and a half has been anything but normal, and that has resulted in the bulk of the 2020-21 Immerse and LifeLINKS materials still being in inventory now because so few congregations were able to hold Bible classes during that time.

As a result, with the exception of the Immerse Connect teen materials, during the Summer 2021, Fall 2021, Winter 2021-22, Spring 2022, and Summer 2022 quarters, the Immerse in His Word and LifeLINKS to God curriculums will actually be the same materials that were produced for the 2020-21 season. The Scope and Sequence schedules for both curriculum lines have been updated to reflect this change. Lord willing, we will be back on schedule with new materials for both curriculum lines beginning with the Fall 2022 quarter.
