Upon learning in high school and college history classes that the Book of Mormon is not from God, and Joseph Smith Jr. was a false prophet, I felt that my whole world fell apart. Many ex-Mormons are so disillusioned, they become agnostics or atheists. After a few years “worshipping” the secular world, I obeyed the Gospel. Shortly after, an elder asked me to study with his daughter and son-in-law, who were almost persuaded by Mormon missionaries. I saw that a book was needed to inoculate Christians against the LDS faith. The Truth about Mormonism should be read by every Christian and sent to relatives, friends, and acquaintances who have bought into the religion.
