Right thinking is the basis for all our words and actions. What Do You Think? is a study of Philippians 4, encouraging students to "think on these things." By intently thinking as Paul instructs, we will become more like Christ in our everyday lives. The book is designed for small group studies, but can also be used in a larger ladies Bible class.
"The purpose of this group study is to grow closer to God as we look at what His word tells us about what we should think. As we come together each week to consider this, we will also get to know each other better, learn to love each other more, and encourage one another to love and good works. Our thoughts are the beginning process of all we do and how we live. When the Pharisees were questioning Jesus in Matthew 12, he told them if a tree is good then its fruit will be good for a tree is recognized by its fruit. He further told them “...how can you who are evil say anything good? For out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks. The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him" (vss. 33-35)."
