God Before Me, God Behind Me: Pivotal Moments Shaping a Spiritual Journey
Glimpses of Providence in an Unexpected Life
What do a father’s firing, a mother’s prayer, a junior high writing assignment, a Dear John letter, a 3x5 card, a Fourth of July barbecue, and a Swiss calendar have to do with a former D.A., career law professor, and author of Christian books?
And what about those transformative “ten words” that seem to move beyond merely pivotal to providential? Ten words prompting production of The Daily Bible (originally The Narrated Bible) that has touched millions of readers.
In this deeply personal memoir, you will not only learn the backstories behind LaGard’s books, but also gain a unique insight into the fellowship known as the Church of Christ, beyond which LaGard envisions a truer, higher view of Christ’s church.
