One Thing I Know (Gospel of John)
In these 13 lessons, Edward J. Robinson emphasizes Jesus as the Son of God and God the Father as presented in the Gospel of John. The author of the fourth Gospel reveals both Jesus’ human and divine characteristics. Jesus’ humanity means for us that He is both accessible and sympathetic. His divinity means that He is worthy of our complete allegiance and our total worship and praise.
The title of this book is lifted from John 9:25, where the former blind man said, “Whether He is a sinner, I do not know; one thing I do know, that though I was blind, now I see” (NASB).The author prefers the King James Version here: “… one thing I know, that, whereas I was blind, now I see.” The man who had been blind provides a pattern for evangelism. Tell people what God has done for you. The author hopes that these lessons will enrich and bless the lives of Christians individually and congregations collectively.
